The web site is mostly in Japanese, but from what parts are in English, we are told it will have a full co-op mode, and full single player modes. Co-op mode will include features like "Snake Formation", allowing players to line up, and tow one another, freeing up movement control for those following, to look out for enemies, or to engage in battle easier. Also using team work to scale ledges, normally inaccessible with just one player. Another new feature is CPR, the ability to revive fallen comrades, but the lingering threat of danger, could make this difficult at times.
The story will divulge the secrets of Big Boss, an seems to be a prequel to even the NES Metal Gear game. The game will include a shooter 3rd person type combat, and an action, almost 1st person type combat. There is also an audio tape on the web site, that is hard to understand, due to the language, but one would assume it has something to do with a specific characters and the story.
From a huge Konami fan, to the rest of the world, here is a glimpse. The site was just launched 11 days ago. For any PSP owner, and MGS fan, this game is going to be the ultimate title to have. Now if they only gave us Zone Of The Enders fans, a look into what they are doing about the 3rd installment of the game, if anything.
